Guest post of the week by Bradley Guthrie
I work seven to seven every day. The time it takes me to get to and from work is absolutely ridiculous. My car insists on shutting off every three minutes to be cranked again in the midst of traffic. I don’t enjoy the radio or the A.C. of many modern day cars I enjoy the jerking and then stopping of an old 1989 Honda Accord. By the time I get to work I am already exhausted, hot, and sweaty. One afternoon on a hot July afternoon I returned home to see my husband relaxing to a nice show on direct tv lowell. When I saw him just sitting there it made my blood almost boil. He looked at me in such comfort like what is your problem. I glanced at him and rolled my eyes. He then told me he had learned on T.V. just how to fix my car without buying a new car of which we couldn’t afford. He went out there pulled a few nuts and bolts and my car was running like brand new. I was thankful for my husband to have caught that show. It saved me a lot of time and sweat.
